This week we tumble into Finnegan's Irish Stout by the masters of brewing things awesome, Hoyne Brewing. We talk about the changes coming to a lot of the beer festivals and how beer is the best thing to keep yourself healthy. Possibly. Hey, we're not doctors, you're a doctor! We drink this dark liquid and talk about a bunch of other things too. Special appearance by Allyson! Dave was looking a bit tired this week so we set him on fire once we killed the stream. It was terrible, especially when the bears arrived to remove his mortal coil.

This week's beer is Brew the Change by Persephone Brewing. Hailing from Gibsons, British Columbia, Canada they partnered with Denman Island Chocolate and Salt Spring Coffee to brew a mocha porter that they can be proud of. We try this one out... and you'll just have to watch to see what we think. Special appearance by Allyson McGrane and Faith the Pug! Dave was a little tired on this one because he spent most of his afternoon running and climbing trees to avoid crazed bears.

This week's beer is Blood Simple from Beau's All Natural Brewing Company. They have taken some blood oranges, mashed them together with a bunch of orange peels, and fermented them into a tart yummy that we can barely explain with words. You should just watch and be amazing at how our taste buds reacted. Dave chose this beer and he always picks beers for the show that we all can't get. This is because he shops with a judgemental bear hanging over his shoulder. Poor Dave.
